YPT-150-1

The YPT-150-1 is a hand-operated, pump action hydraulic crimping tool, to crimp uninsulated sheet terminals in the range of 8 - 150 mm².

The tool is supplied in a steel case and is complete with dies to crimp 8, 14, 22, 38, 60, 70, 80, 100 & 150 mm².

The specified dies are selected for the chosen terminal and mounted in the tool. The terminal is then inserted into the dies in the correct orientation (male indenter aligned with the brazed seam of the terminal). The correctly stripped wire is then inserted into the terminal. The handle is pumped until it resistance is felt, followed by a 'crack' as the crimp completes and the pressure is automatically released at the correct compressive force.
